It's been a while but it has been very busy lately especially at my work and there's little new to show you.But first things first....Paris with Tammy and the girls, it was really great, we have had so much fun, and we've seen so many nice things. We left very early on Friday morning and after arriving in Paris we immediately went to visit the shop of Bonheur des Dames. The next day we visisted L"Aiguille en fete a wonderful embroidery and crafts fair in Les Grandes Halles, very crowdy but it was worth it.I bought some nice charts of some darning samplers, at Reflets de Soie In the evening we made a boattrip on the Seine, enjoy Paris and it's lovely history. My heart's in Scotland and Glasgow, but I'm starting to love Paris and France. On Sunday we went to the museum of Toile de Jouy in Josas just outside Paris. A beuatiful museum and with a good tourguide.
When I came home, very late on Sunday night, or Monday morning what ever... Ron told me that my Darning sampler was ready to pick up. The picture is not as good , coz the colours used are very light en pale. but I love it and I'm very happy with it.
The only thing I did was a little practising on my own darning practise sampler. And I finished the Just Nan. Next Thursday I'm going to Tammy to finish it, so pictures will follow.
Further a big thank you to all the girls who joined us in Paris. Thanks for all the fun and laughter and let's do it again girls, as soon as possible hihi>It's good to meet new people who share the same hobby.
Take care and big hugs
Erna
