My Alsacienne Quaker

Now wouldn't it be time to change my blog's name into France and Stitching??
Almost all of my stitching projects are French. I just love the French style, probably because they use a lot of pink and lace..
Last year I finished  a couple of small Quaker Samplers. I bought the charts at Nathalie's
Jardin Privé .
In almost all of the Quakers I used my favourite colours pale pink and rose white from Atalie.
But the Alscacienne  Quaker I stitched in it's original colours , simply because I felt I had to.
Very dark colours for me ...
The fabric for the backside was given to me by my sweet and good friend Gerda, who loves the Alsace and the ribbon I bought at Marijke and Gonnie  ( Steekjes en Kruisjes )..
Well changing my blog's name isn't an option, because my heart is in Scotland....so I'll leave it all like this... but France is wonderful...
I hope you will all have a nice Easter..
